Imagine Moscow
‘Agile and thoughtful, even witty.’ Artforum
Based around the phantoms of six unbuilt architectural projects, the exhibition charts the rise and fall of a generation of visionary architects and designers in the decade following the Russian Revolution. Drawing on rarely seen material, Imagine Moscow presents an idealistic vision of the Soviet capital that was never realised, showcasing large-scale architectural drawings, artworks, ephemera and photography by leading members of the Soviet avant-garde. Assisting Senior Curator Eszter Steierhoffer.
